Life is like a Mosaic
Life is like a
A myriad of colors, textures and p a t t e r n s.
Sometimes the pattern is bright and colorful, and then the color can fade. Sometimes the shapes are large and far and few between, and other times, they’re small and frequent. As the pattern is set, it can shatter and spread even more thin.
There comes a period of time before you can rearrange the pieces to form a new masterpiece. But many times, the mosaic of life is all encompassing.
One can feel the high and low of two very different things at the same time. Like the interlocking of life and death. The new and the old move parallel. And all the colors, shapes, textures come together as a whole.
I’ve been learning to embrace life more and more as it comes, and not to force the pattern into what I believe it should be. Some designs are concrete while others may be malleable.
Life still moves, even if we resist.
